This full-time opportunity focuses on guiding 9th graders through biology and 10th graders through chemistry, offering both self-contained and co-teaching classroom experiences. Youll collaborate with passionate educators in a supportive environment near Naval Anacost Annex, DC.

Desired Background and Experience:

  • Valid certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification)
  • Experience teaching high school science, especially biology and chemistry
  • Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and instructional approaches
  • Ability to work collaboratively with general education teachers in a co-teaching model
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom
