Desired Skills & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility) for Pre-K level
• Previous experience teaching or working with children requiring special education services, particularly in early childhood settings
• Strong understanding of IEPs and the ability to develop and implement individualized learning strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and parents
• Adaptability and creativity in modifying curriculum and classroom activities to fit student needs

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering effective instruction tailored to students unique learning requirements
• Collaborating with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to coordinate services
• Assessing progress and maintaining up-to-date student records in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Implementing positive behavioral interventions and supports within the classroom
