As a full-time educator working with grades K5, youll help students with mild to moderate needs, fostering their growth and success both academically and socially. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility) for Colorado
• Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred)
• Experience working with elementary students, particularly those with mild/moderate exceptionalities
• Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and colleagues
• A drive to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored for each students unique needs, ensuring measurable growth
• Deliver engaging lessons and interventions in both individual and small group settings
• Work closely with general education teachers to support inclusive education practices
• Monitor progress, document data, and maintain thorough records in compliance with district and state requirements
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
• Advocate for students and foster independence, confidence, and achievement
