Qualifications and Certifications:

• Valid Mild/Moderate California credential in Special Education
• Prior experience in California special education classrooms
• Strong ability to adapt instruction to a variety of learning needs

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver individualized lessons to high school students in alignment with IEPs
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional approaches as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all state and federal guidelines
• Develop engaging classroom activities tailored to diverse learning styles
• Provide a supportive, structured classroom environment that fosters growth
