Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certification required
- Previous experience in special education (preferred)
- Familiarity with Inclusion or Life Skills classroom environments
- Ability to manage and organize caseloads efficiently
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction to meet IEP goals for students in either elementary or high school caseloads
- Foster a positive learning atmosphere for students with diverse needs
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and IEP compliance
- Collaborate closely with other educators, parents, and support staff
- Actively participate in school meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
Position Details:
- Contract runs from August 12th, 2026, through May 27th, 2027
- Full-time: 3537.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Direct support for Inclusion or Life Skills programs
