Qualifications and Experience:

• Active California Educational Specialist credential is required
• Previous experience working in a mild to moderate special education setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with implementing IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build positive, productive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

Your Role:

• Deliver tailored instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities in accordance with IEP goals
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Assess student needs, monitor progress, and document outcomes effectively
• Modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support each students success
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, team consultations, and staff development
