Qualifications:
- Active Special Education (SPED) Licensure in Connecticut required
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum preferred

- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized instruction to students with special educational needs, adapting teaching methods to each individuals strengths
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to create inclusive learning environments
- Use data-driven strategies to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Engage in positive, productive communication with parents or guardians
- Complete documentation and maintain timely records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
