Were seeking two dedicated professionals to fill long-term substitute positionsone working with middle grades and the other with PreK-5 students. These roles begin as soon as possible and are expected to continue through the end of the school year.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification in Special Education or eligibility for licensure
• Proven experience working in either PreK-5 or middle grades special education settings
• Demonstrated ability to implement trauma-informed instructional practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Ability to adapt lessons and offer differentiated instruction based on individual needs
• Flexibility and a student-centered mindset

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) supporting student goals
• Employ trauma-informed approaches to foster a safe, supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure comprehensive services for students
• Track progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with relevant regulations
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and strategies for support
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and school events as required
