Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility for certification in Connecticut)
- Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Experience working with 1st and 2nd grade students strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction and support to elementary students with special needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Track student progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed
