In this setting, you will work one-on-one and in small group environments with four students in 2nd and 3rd grade, providing tailored instruction as part of a K-8 team. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Special Education Teacher certification required
- Experience working with elementary and K-8 students with effective needs
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to adapt lesson plans for individualized learning
- Collaborative and organized, able to work well with support staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instructions and modified curriculum to students in 2nd and 3rd grade, focusing on their unique learning needs
- Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress, adjusting strategies and interventions as needed
- Maintain proactive communication with teachers, staff, and parents to support student development
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages engagement and growth
