Job Description
A full-time position is available for a Teacher for the Visually Impaired for the 20262027 school year. This role supports students with visual impairments through telehealth services, enhancing their educational experience with specialized instruction and adaptive strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction and support tailored to students with visual impairments.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to conduct lessons and monitor student progress.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on visual impairment.
- Collaborate with educational professionals to integrate visual impairment services across curricula.
- Maintain detailed records of student development and communicate progress with relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired.
- Experience working with visually impaired students in an educational setting.
- Proficiency with telehealth technology and virtual teaching methods.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs.
