We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a school-based team in Springfield, TN. The PTA will work alongside licensed Physical Therapists and school staff to support students in reaching their physical, functional, and educational goals.

Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy services to students under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic activities.
Support students with mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional movement.
Document services and student progress accurately.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and related-service providers.
Follow all applicable school and Tennessee physical therapy requirements.
Requirements
Active Tennessee Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license REQUIRED.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
Previous pediatric or school-based experience is preferred but not required.
Must be able to meet all district and employment requirements, including any required background screening.

Tennessee Licensure: Candidates must be properly licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Tennessee to practice. The Tennessee Board of Physical Therapy regulates PTA licensure, and Tennessee provides license verification through the Department of Health.
